Description
Yes, it's true. All 8 of the flexidiscs released on the Sha-la-la label, the legendary precursor to Sarah Records. Sha-la-la was a flexidisc-only label that existed from roughly 1986 to '88 and was run by a collective of indiepop fanzine editors, who distributed the flexis with their fanzines. Two of those editors were Matt Haynes and Clare Wadd, who later went on to co-found Sarah Records. Due to the limited pressings of these flexis -- not to mention their fragility -- there are very few in existence now, and they're perhaps even more sought-after than the early Sarah releases. The flexis are:

2) Talulah Gosh "I Told You So" / Razorcuts "Sad Kaleidoscope"
3) The Bachelor Pad "Girl of Your Dreams" / Baby Lemonade "Jiffy Neckwear Creation"
4) The Poppyheads "Postcards for Flossy EP" (Tracks: Sun Shines Forever, Changes Yesterday, First Thing, On and On)
5) The Sea Urchins "Summershine" / The Orchids "From This Day"
6) The Siddeleys "Wherever You Go" / Reserve "The Sun Slid Down Behind the Tower"
7) Remember Fun "Hey Hey Hate" / Emily "The Old Stone Bridge"
8) The Magic Shop "It's True" / The Visitors "Gold Mining"
Inevitably for flexidiscs, some of these show greater signs of wear than others (they were all accumulated from auction sales over a period of several years), but all of them are thoroughly playable; they have been re-tested prior to sale and none of them skip or have significant sound interruptions. The paper wraparound sleeves are all in a minmum of very good condition, with only some moderate edge wear. A few are virtually mint in appearance.
