FACTORY SAMPLE

THE BEATLES

STEREO LP

Parlophone PCS 7027

I will grade this item fairly and honestly

(check my feedback for assurance)

The vinyl is not far from EX:

  • a number of surface paper marks
  • a more visible extended surface mark that may have been made by a fingernail
  • a few (quite light) scratches that may have been caused by stylus placement/removal

The record plays better than visual grade:

I played it on Rega Planar 2 deck, Rotel amp and Eltax speakers and found no significant flaw in play or sound other than a few background clicks in one or two places, and slight static sound on silent/very quiet passages. Some of this may be rectified by a good clean.

You will see  that the spindle hole is not worn - always a helpful sign!

The inner sleeve appears to be original, but bottom seam is split - it is not too hard to get a replacement.

Cut-out insert ('Printed in England') has a bit of creasing, but again could be replaced if necessary.

Laminated gatefold sleeve (G&L) is around EX condition - no serious flaw, but some creasing and spine wear.

Disc stamps are YEX 637 - 1 and YEX 638 - 1

Please ask if you have any further questions.

I am sorry that international shipping is high, but I have to include insurance/tracking otherwise I will not be supported by eBay if anything goes wrong!

Please note that I do not describe an item as MINT unless I am satisfied that it has not been played at all. Please bid with confidence on the basis of my previous feedback for record selling.

Happy bidding fellow music lovers, and may the bird of paradise fly up your nose.....
