Description

This a 1979 early vinyl press of "The Great Rock 'N' Roll Swindle" from the Sex Pistols. This version has two stickers on the gatefold sleeve, unusually with the square sticker on the front and round sticker on the back of the sleeve - they are usually the other way round. It also has the paper insert with track listings and run-outs have matrices:

VD.2510-A5    tone

VD.2510-B4    tone

VD 2510-D.3   tone

VD 2510-C.12 tone

Both records are in VG+ condition with only minimal surface marks/hairlines from previous play. No scratches or anything feelable. Both records played without jumps or skips. On the yellow label record 1 there was some crackle at the start and generally during quiet moments light crackle could be heard but nothing excessive and sound quality was otherwise excellent. The labels are undamaged.

Outer gatefold sleeve is VG with no major damage. There is heavy scuffing and creasing from use and wear and a small tear on the opening edge but the sleeve is intact and strong.

Paper insert is included plus the original 2 white different inners(this album was a mire of mix ups!)

I grade all of my records according to The Record Collector Magazines grading system.

I always test play my records on a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable with Ortofon cartridge stylus unless they are in near mint/ mint condition and appear unplayed but the description will state this. I don't sell records with deep scratches or marks that affect the sound quality and enjoyment.

All of our Vinyl is professionally cleaned using a Pro-Ject VC-S record cleaning machine.

The vinyl is then packaged in a protective anti static sleeve, the whole album placed into a protective outer plastic sleeve and then posted in a robust top of the range custom cardboard record mailer.
