This is an original plastic document wallet that was sent out to promote the 'Never Mind The Bollocks' LP... incredibly rare item... the folder does have some wear to it, light scuffs etc.
Almost 26cm by 39cm.
We purchased this as part of a large collection of ex-record shops back room archive, and it was being as a general folder to hold several 'random' documents relating to the running of the shop.
We almost dismissed this wallet as general piece of merchandise, but after hours of trying to find another one, refining our google and other searches, we eventually found reference to one that sold a few years back, described as an original promotional piece issued by the record company to promote the LPs release, they sold it for several hundred pounds... armed with this, we contacted a punk specialist, who, through the drools, told that they had only ever heard of one other, and it was in the hands of one of the biggest collectors, unlikely to see the light of day or enter the collectors market ever again (or at least for many years).
This auction is for the clear plastic, screen printed wallet... no other promotional items included (when this wallet was originally sent out by Virgin, a press release and sales information was included... this has long since gone).
