SEX PISTOLS - D.O.A - COLLECTIBLE AND VERY RARE ORIGINAL JAPANESE 'VAP' VHS TAPE.
PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS A JAPANESE VHS TAPE AND IT 'WILL' PLAY ON A UK VHS PLAYER.
This I got in a recent Punk bundle I bought from a private collector, I was advised that it has been stored and not played for many years, so as far as I know it remains in good condition.
In 1978 The Sex Pistols embarked on their legendary American tour a tour that they would never finish.
DOA: A Rite of Passage is the unique, grainy and up-close document of a unique moment in punk music history, packed with rare live footage of The Sex Pistols incendiary live American shows, as well as live performances from The Dead Boys, Generation X, Rich Kids, X-Ray Spex, Sham 69 plus additional music from The Clash and Iggy Pop.
The cameras also goes behind-the-scenes into bars, punk clubs and features the now infamous Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen bed interview.
I wish I could play this and have a watch so I could advise on quality but alas I have no VHS player so this will remain a mystery for the winning bidder, so you could say it's a bit of a punt on this item or a collection filler.
Serious collector's who buy from me on a regular basis will know the importance of having a copy of this in this condition in their Sex Pistols collection.
grab it while it's here, this has been deleted for many years now and very rarely comes up for sale.
Low start considering its rarity value and no reserve.
