PLEASE READ: this is the unique, legendary and highly collectable German pressing complete with amazing cover. Old eBay prices: £500 + £495 + £395 + £377. Rare of course in itself BUT.....and here's the difference.....this is a VERY RARE one because it is one of the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS which incorrectly credits Chris Thomas on the B Side (see scan). As you know, this also happened in the UK where singles were quickly withdrawn thereby creating a genuine collectors item. Let me tell you that there are one hell of a lot more UK pressings than German singles out there because few Germans were caught up in the Punk fever that this record helped ignite in the UK, so nearly all, I imagine, were unsold at that time and no doubt incinerated or met some other sticky end. The sleeve is based on the shock, scandal and ‘Filth And The Fury’ photo which would accompany reports in the UK national newspapers following the Sex Pistols now legendary 'Today' programme appearance, with Bill Grundy, on London Weekend television. Far nicer, don't you think, than the boring black UK sleeve, created to reflect the blank generation, as well as the boredom and bleakness of a country under particular scrutiny, during the 3mins 35 secs of glorious mayhem within the grooves of this wonderful, treasured piece of plastic. On the flip is, of course, the brilliant, and classic, ‘I Wanna Be Me’. Although 43 years old and made of thin paper, typical of German picture sleeves of the time, as you will see from the scan this German sleeve is in great condition (no seam splits). It's a totally unique and stunning collectors item, sooo rare and like with all my auctions has no reserve. There is a number handwritten on the back sleeve and the cover shows a soft ringwear otherwise the condition is:

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
