You are looking at the mega rare seventeen single, don't let go / bank holiday weekend, on the vendetta label, label no vd001a, released in 1979. There were only 1500 copies of this single pressed up, and it has now become the holy grail for alarm collecters. The band used this name until the early eighties before they chaged it to alarm alarm, and then finally the alarm. The lineup on the single is basically the classic original alarm line up, with drummer nigel twist appearing here under his real name nigel buckle. The tracks are both power pop gems, and only give a slight clue to where their sound was heading with the alarm. The condition of both the single and cover i would class as mint. the single has only been played a couple of times since i bought it from a friend of the band back in 1980, and has got that nice shine of brand new vinyl. Any potential buyer should be aware that i insist on the buyer agreeing to postal insurance, as this can save a whole lot of hassle if goods go missing, and also means i have proof of posting.
