SENSATION’S FIX ‘VISION’S FUGITIVES RARE ITALIAN/KRAUTROCK MASTERPIECE ON ORIGINAL ALL EARS PROG LABEL COMPLETE WITH LYRIC INNER

Sleeve Condition: Some rubbing to the outside of the sleeve but unlike most American manufactured card and paper sleeves, this one has survived well without the usual splitting at the edges. Ex condtion.

Record Condition: The vinyl is in lovely, Ex+ both visually and aurally.

Sensation’s Fix was based in a farm near Florence, and had a krautrock-like attitude that leaves them as a unique band in the Italian prog field. Mainly an electronic band, based on keyboards, with an almost entirely instrumental, groove-oriented atmospheric music, the founding members include Italians FRANCO FALSINI on guitar and Richard Ursillo on bass (formerly of CAMPO DI MARTE), and American Keith Edwards on drums.

Vision’s Fugitives is Sensation’s Fix’s only American release. Guitarist and composer Franco Falsini had some truly unique ideas about mixing rock, jazz, and avant-garde classical music, and his band was tight and highly skilled. The instrumental cuts on Vision's Fugitives have energy and intelligence to spare, and Falsini's agile guitar work and mastery of instrumental tones are often reminiscent of Robert Fripp.

Selling in tiny numbers at the time and disappearing very quickly from the remaindered racks, this is one of Sensation’s Fix’s toughest original LPs to turn up and copies rarely come up for sale. This is a scarce opportunity to acquire a rare vinyl original from this unique band on a desirable record label.
