GRADES
MINT (M)The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The sleeve and any extra items, e.g. lyric sheet, poster etc. will also be perfect.
EXCELLENT (EX) The record shows some sign of having been played and may have light surface marks but the sound quality is still near perfect. The sleeve might have slight wear or minor creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG)The record has obviously been played many times with noticeable surface marks, sound quality will have deteriorated with pops and crackles etc. Normal wear and tear to the sleeve without any major defects.
GOOD (G) The record has been well played with visible scratches etc. and there will be deterioration in sound quality with pops and crackles etc. but no jumps or skips. The sleeve may have creasing, edge scuffs, spine or edge splits, fading etc.
FAIR (F) The record is still just playable with considerable surface noise, it may even jump, the cover may be torn, stained or defaced.
