SECOND HAND Reality
original 1968 UK LP. This is the incredibly rare 1st pressing with the label listing the band as The Moving Finger.
Bearing in mind the album sold poorly it is amazing Polydor bothered to reprint the labels anyway.
But this the very 1st pressing with A1/B1 matrix numbers and as all serious collectors will know
it also features a sleeve which is DELIBERATELY made to look worn... i.e. SECOND HAND!! Genius!
Apart from that it's a great album in its own right and they don't come along in this condition often.

record: EX (There is 1 LIGHT surface mark, obviously not affecting play at all, otherwise this album is near MINT!
NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO spindle marks, and still some vinyl residue in the spindle hole,
so possibly UNPLAYED! Not played by me, I have kept the non-Moving Finger issue. STUNNING!)
sleeve: VG (This is a fully laminated E.J.Day sleeve.
The condition is STRICTLY graded at proper VG, so NOT trashed at all!
As stated before the surface of the sleeve is SUPPOSED to look worn, so ignore the ringwear
in the photo!!
The front of the sleeve just has creases, mostly light, otherwise clean and crisp.
The spine has some creases and rubbing, the catalogue number is fully visible but the album
name has nearly rubbed away but not through the laminate.
The back has some more creases and a small bit of damage at the bottom, NOT through the
sleeve, otherwise clean and crisp.
All edges are fully intact, with a nice straight, crisp opening edge.
There is light wear on the corner tips.
There is no writing or stickers on the record or the sleeve.
