Here I have a Stereo original copy of the acclaimed SECOND HAND lp from 1968, called simply 'REALITY', on Polydor Records 583045, minus cover. It's unfortunate that the 'deliberately worn-out' original cover is missing, so this will perhaps suit someone with a spare cover, or a wrecked disc, or just for hearing the music - which is worthy early progressive psych. I think this sits somewhere between early Pink Fairies 'Never Never Land', and King Crimson's earlier work, and is indispensible psychedelic-tinged prog and usually a copy might fetch between 50 and 100 pounds. The band went on to record another LP 'Death May Be Your Santa Claus' before a jamming, experimental effort as Chillum. They also carried on in the 70's as Seventh Wave, releasing a successful album in Europe named 'Sci-Fi'. The lables are clean and unmarked, the vinyl grades VG+ - it was sprayed with some kind of record-cleaner I think (I never liked that stuff) and had a slippy film which I have cleaned off with soapy water, but still has some dusty crackle in quiet spots, which may be erradicated with a little cleaning (perhaps light alcohol might work better). Plays well otherwise, and the music is nice and clear. Winning bidder please add 3.00 pounds for postage and packing, international/insurance extra.
