JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE Are You Experienced Reprise Records RS-6261
1972 U.S. pressing, STILL SEALED, never opened
____________________________________________________________
Why We Believe This Is The 1972 reissue, through our research (Billboard Magazine/Cashbox; Discogs):
- The original retail store sticker shows a $5.98 Manufacturer's Suggested List Price with an "X" through it, and below that the store's reduced pricing code "E" ($3.44 to $3.99, depending upon the store's reduction policy at the time)
- The $5.98 Suggested List Price came into being in 1972 for all major US record companies
- Are You Experienced was reissued by U.S. Reprise in 1972
- Are You Experienced was not reissued by U.S. Reprise from 1973 - 1975
- In 1975, the Manufacturer's Suggested Price rose to $6.98
[And.....the both of us are old enough to remember those years!
Dave and Christine West]

Vinyl is presumed to be in Mint condition, as this is STILL SEALED
Cover is as you see in the photos (square and flat; no creases or bends, no seam splits; no ring wear; no storage odors; no cut-out marks; colors are sharp, without fading).
NOTE THAT THE LAST FOUR PHOTOS WERE TAKEN IN A YELLOW-ISH LIGHT BY A DIFFERENT CAMERA, to detail some edge spotting and a cover blister, things that don't photograph well under other light. In the exaggerated "yellowness" of those last 4 images you can perhaps make out the spotting and the edge blister on the front top edge.
Please examine all photos before purchasing, thank you!
