This is the authentic 1966 first edition of Elvis Presley's "Spinout" soundtrack, released as a Monaural LP (LPM-3702) on the RCA Victor label. Unlike the more common stereo reissues, this original mono press delivers the punchy, direct sound characteristic of mid-60s analog recordings. This specific copy is a collector's dream, still preserved in its original shrink wrap with two rare vintage hype stickers.

"Spinout" (released in the UK as "California Holiday") marks a significant moment in Elvis's 1960s film career. Recorded in May 1966 at RCA Studio B in Nashville, the album is famous not just for its upbeat soundtrack numbers, but for the inclusion of three "Bonus Songs" that had nothing to do with the film. Most notably, it features Elvis’s haunting cover of Bob Dylan’s "Tomorrow Is a Long Time."
