This is SEA SHANTIES" the original 1969 LP by HIGH TIDE - the 1st LP released by HIGH TIDE.

This is the original 1969 USA version of the LP.

The LP was bought on its release in 1969, and is an early 1st pressing.

The vinyl is on the USA LIBERTY label, number LST-7638, and has the following 1st press matrix numbers and "stampers":

Record is EX+, the vinyl has no marks or scratches, nice black sheen, with no spindle marks. It does not look like a 43-year old record.

The LP plays superbly, with no pops or bangs, with just some slight background noise in the very few quieter moments.

The cover is a gatefold and I would grade the cover as a EX-

There is ringwear on the back cover, and slightly on the front cover.

Imports from the USA often had their corners removed as part of the import process - this album has the top left corner removed.

There is wear on the top edges, and apart from ageing marks around the cover edges the cover is a nice thick flat cover.

The spine has clear lettering and undamaged with just spots of ageing marks.

The inside of the gatefold is in excellent shape.
