Mega rare original 7" release from 1980 on One Tone Records (cat. no. ERECT 1)
The Scrotum Poles were a council house bedroom band from Dundee who released 1,000 copies of this home made package which has become a much sought after punk rarity. I've run a record shop in Dundee since 1976 and I guess we were the first people to stock this record. My shop is even included in the thanks list on the insert. This copy was from the first batch and was probably given to me by the band. It's been sitting in my collection for the past 30 years and I decided to list it today to help make up for the fact the shop's closed due to the unprecedented weather conditions in Tayside. The Pole's part-time manager was a mate of mine and he arranged to film the band in the window of my shop. I still have about 20 minutes of footage which has been converted to a DVD which I will include as a bonus.
The condition of the vinyl is excellent / near mint and has hand-written / hand-stamped labels.
The home made sleeve is excellent although there's some discolouring on the left hand side due to the age and the glue is starting to come away on the back folds.
It comes with the original double sided blue insert which is in mint condition.
