SCORPIONS as THE HUNTERS „Fuchs geh voran“ mega rare 7“ SWEET covers Fox on the run / Action

This is the incredibly rare 1975 German 7“ release of Colorit 1C 006-41102. The Scorpions as The Hunters for two cover versions of Sweet songs in German: „Fuchs geh voran (Fox on the run) / Wenn es richtig losgeht (Action)“. Both cover and reecord label have a large green A-stamp (whatever that means).

Record Condition

Excellent! There are a couple of light marks, the record appears to have been played but there is only light to moderate background sound, mainly at the beginning/the intro - as soon as the music gets going there is nomore audible noise!  

Cover Condition

VG++! No terrible faults but quite some ring wear, crease, sticker remains. The top third of the left side is open. Still: It is certainly not in beautiful condition but it is a lot better than no cover!

GRADING

I try my best to be as accurate as possible as I have been collecting records for more than 25 years and have experienced the annoyance when records are graded inaccurately. Every collector of records knows - and every honest seller of records should know also! - that a visual grading does not say much about the actual condition of the record. Consequently: grading a record MINT or NEAR MINT without listening to it is simply negligent - to say the least. Unfortunately this happens on e-bay every day. On the other hand: it is simply not possible to listen to hundreds of records. So I decided to give every single record a careful acoustic check for the basic sound, listening to parts that look "suspicious" if necessary but I did not listen to the records throughout. If any inconvenience occurs from this - please let me know as soon as possible.

MINT (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

NEARLY MINT (NM - Goldmine standard) The record shows no obvious signs of wear. The vinyl should show no wear from playing only the slightest of paper scuffs are acceptable. The jacket should look as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink-wrap.

EXCELLENT (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items without any major defects is acceptable.

GOOD (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.

Returns are accepted if the item was misdescribed! And - sorry to say - only in that case!
