Matrix: DSR 0312 BARRINGTON LEVY DUB LP / DSR 0313 BARRINGTON LEVY DUB LP
Jamaican press -- issued in 1980 -- of killer dub album with tracks drawn from Barrington Levy's seminal Englishman and Bounty Hunter lps, featuring alternating dubs by Scientist and Prince Jammy. Considered an essential dub album in Steve Barrow's Reggae: The Rough Guide. Produced by Henry "Junjo" Lawes, with rhythms by Roots Radics. It was recorded at Channel One and mixed at King Tubbys.
Vinyl is VG+++ (EXCELLENT PLUS)* with high gloss and a couple small, superficial marks that cause minimal (if any) noise. There is slight storage warp that doesn't affect play. Labels are clean. The record comes in a plain white cover.
