We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Hard to find in clean condition as an original 1966  first pressing in booming MONO ... this is the second YOUNG RASCALS album, and not a collection of best hits as the title implies but a collective of inspired energetic songs ...filled with action, chart hits and soundsations... the MONO release reflects differebt song mixes and a great bold punch in the sound production  that drives through both speakers giving that 'solid-sound' feel ...The album was released on January 9, 1967 and rose to #15 on the Billboard Top LPs chart.

The album featured two Top 20 U.S. hits; "(I've Been) Lonely Too Long" reached #16 on the Billboard Hot 100, while "Love Is a Beautiful Thing" (released as a double A-side with non-album single "You Better Run") preceded it at #20.

The garage rock feel continues on the group's second album, whose release followed a pair of cool singles ("What Is the Reason" and "Come On Up"). In fact, 'Come On Up' was a very popular track that garage bands across America seemed to all have in their repitoire, a rave-up energized cooker with great flair and feel...of course nobody did it as well as the Young Rascals. Otherwise the album fields a wonderful soulful body of music that picks up right where "In the Midnight Hour" from theie 1st Lp, "Good Lovin'" album left off. Most of this record is among the most "movin' & shakin' white rock music of its period -- even the Eddie Brigati-sung cover of the then-current pop standard "More" has a certain rocking credibility. Their attempt at bluesy rock & roll, Cornish's "Nineteen Fifty-Six," a bit of a "Kansas City" rip-off, with a pair of crunchy guitar parts and Cornish singing lead, also comes off extremely well. They're even better with the more soulful tracks, however. "Land of 1000 Dances" was the best track on which to end this album, but it was Cavaliere and David Brigati's killer "Love Is a Beautiful Thing" that pointed to the future, showing the group moving toward the mix of sounds and sentiments behind "People Got to Be Free." All in all a great forgotten Lp, the 2nd YOUNG RASCALS ...here, never better in original MONOPHONIC sound~sations !

CONDITION: The cover: is solid all over, hardly any wear, just very light, collection worthy VG++...it looks fine with strong original colors and not having seam splits, no bends, = very collectible appearance.

The vinyl: is all glossy with nothing more than whispy soft inner sleeve type  scuffs, strong VG++ that easily plays with solid "EX" (excellent) audio = smooth clean sound and has clean MONO Atlantic labels ...
