SAX 5285 – MILSTEIN : BACH / VIVALDI CONCERTOS
Columbia black / red early semi-circle (first label) SAX 5285. Nathan Milstein (with Chamber Orchestra); playing Bach Violin Concertos Nos. 1 & 2; Vivaldi Violin Concertos in D minor & A major.
The record is shiny and in beautiful condition but on Side 1 there is a light audible scratch about ½ cm long across part of tracks 1 & 2 (Bach Concerto No.2 in E major). The sleeve front has unsightly discoloured laminate splits at LH side plus wear and creasing at RH edge and corners (see photo).
So, not one for the perfectionist, but a great find if this is the missing piece in your Milstein collection.
