Description

BACH - ST. MATTHEW PASSION Excellent and highly sought after recordings featuring PETER PEARS, WALTER BERRY, OTAKAR KRAUS, NICOLAI GEDDA, CHRISTA LUDWIG & ELISBETH SCHWARZKOPF with the Philharmonia Choir & Orchestra conducted by OTTO KLEMPERER. Columbia blue/silver label 1st UK release. Five individual lps housed in the company sleeves and original inner sleeves. This set belonged to a reviewer and had no insert. These company sleeves are now very rare in their own right.

CAT. NO. SAX 2446-50 on Columbia Records

The sleeves are in excellent condition - just minor discolouration. The vinyl is in near mint condition - it looks and sounds like it has only been played once or twice, you won't find a better set.
For international bidders I accept PAYPAL. For U.K bidders I also accept personal cheques but y'all know how long they take to clear. All monies must be received within 10 days. I am not responsible for lost or damaged parcels if they are sent uninsured but I do always send with proof of postage. Large shipments upto 50kg available. Any more questions just email me.
