33rpm LP Record of SAX 2344 Chopin PIANO CONCERTO NO 4 and Fantasie in F minor, featuring Malcuzynski on piano, accompanied by the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Walter Susskind. It was issued on the stereo Columbia blue and silver label in 1960 (ED1). UK pressing. Stunning copy!
The record itself is graded close to near mint, with no more than the odd light surface mark/hairline visible when viewed under normal house lighting. Play-tested on an audio-technica turntable. Superb sound quality, with NO jumps, ticks, pops or crackle. More or less faultless playback.
Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels clean. No discernible spider marks.
The outer Garrod & Lofthouse flipback sleeve is graded excellent, with light handling and storage wear and a hint of ringwear to the back cover. The spine is intact and strong with no loss to the lettering. The inner sleeve has no wear to speak of.
