SAMANTHA PROMOTIONS VOLUME ONE--SPLP 101
The 'Samantha Promotions' albums are the rarest compilations of UK Psych-related (specifically progressive-psychedelic material) known to man. Only a handful are known to survive and copies change hands for 4-figure sums. Most people will never get a chance to own or even see an original.
The vinyl is in amazing condition and I dont think has ever been played before (I gave it a quick and careful spin myself). The inner sleeve is the original one with a plastic lining .The sleeve is laminated on the front and has a few light marks. The back is unlaminated and shows some very light ringwear. There is a little edge wear.
Cover is plain orange, onto which the following is printed in silver:
"This record is specially designed for the sole purpose of promoting the groups and their original sound. We trust that it will enable you to choose the sounds you require at your leisure. N. VAN GRIEKEN G. ROBIN producers"
The groups featured on side one are: Vybes, Juganaut, Cloudburst, Odd Fox, Oneysuckle.
Side 2: Arandora's Life, Site Fade, The Ox, Flesh, Damascas, New Delight.
This is a rare chance to own this LP, especially in this condition.
