TITLE: ESCALATOR
ARTIST: SAM GOPAL
LABEL, YEAR OF RELEASE & OTHER DETAILS: STABLE RECORDS, SLE 8001, 1969, FIRST U.K. PRESS...
MATRIX NO'S. STAMPED SLE+8001+A / SLE+8001+B
VINYL: VG+ OVERALL, both sides are clean but with some light scratches and scuff marks to both sides....
AUDIO: VG+...plays with no skips or jumps...there is some light background noise in places,...overall the run-ins are quiet, and this L.P. is a powerful listening pleasure!!
SLEEVE: VG+...FULLY TEXTURED GATEFOLD SLEEVE IS VERY CLEAN AND FIRM WITH STRONG COLOURS, SHOWS AGE RELATED SCUFFING AND WEAR TO CORNERS AND EDGES,...SPINE TEXT IS PARTLY READABLE!!!...overall sleeve is in a decent shape for its' age!!
LABELS: EX, rough textured with some spindle marks but nice and clean!!
INNER SLEEVE: VG, period die-cut & lined inner sleeve
with "EMITEX" printed information...
not sure if it is the original but came with the l.p.
when purchased by me a long time ago!!
GRADING: I AM NO EXPERT BUT TRY AND GRADE AS HONESTLY AS POSSIBLE...WITH PLUS (+) AND MINUS (-) IF THE CONDITION FALLS BETWEEN TWO GRADES.
Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
I WILL ALWAYS POST WITH RECOGNISED MAILERS AND STIFFENERS...THE VINYL WILL BE SEPARATED FROM THE SLEEVE PRIOR TO MAILING....
