Description
Up for auction is a nice copy of Salvation, a late 60’s San Francisco drug taking hippy psych band. This is an original US White Label Promo copy in MONO. Issued on ABC Records as ABC-623. Nine songs of various straight forward rock, white boy blues, hippy light psych with a mix of bubble gum. The standout being “Think Twice” a seven minute acid orgy with fuzz.
Visually vinyl LP is VG++, not quite M- due to a few scuffs, hairlines or light marks on side 2. These do not effect play as this LP plays loud, clear, crisp and quite amazing in Mono. Reportedly, Mono copies only came as WLP. Plays and sounds VG++ or nicer. Center label is bright colored, clean and has the faintest of a few spindle marks on side two. Center hole looks near new and perfect.
Outer gatefold cover jacket has some shelf wear along top and bottom on front and back cover. Light wear on seams, decent spine, clean and bright white coloring inside gatefold. No cut corners, drill holes or punch marks. In black pen someone has written their name, "margo wright". This isn't very visible. Cover grades VG on the outside and VG+ on the inside of gatefold. Granted, not near mint but a nice playing copy of this very rare and amazing mono pressing of this great California hippy psych vinyl LP.
