Description
SAINT VITUS “Live Vol. 2” RARE Red Vinyl Doom Metal 3-LP SET! Considered one of the most influential American doom and sludge metal ensembles, Saint Vitus emerged in the early 1980s alongside monolithic contemporaries like Pentagram, Trouble, and Witchfinder General. With a sound torn from the pages of the gospel of Black Sabbath, the band issued a string of authoritative albums, including Saint Vitus (1984), Born Too Late (1986), V (1990), and Die Healing (1995) before ceasing operations in 1996. The ensuing years saw them occasionally reconvene for a handful of live performances, but they made it official in 2012 when they released their long-awaited eighth studio LP, Lillie: F-65, with a second eponymous LP arriving in 2019. Tracks include: SIDE ONE 1- War is Our Destiny 2- Look Behind You 3- Let Them Fall 4- The Bleeding Ground SIDE TWO 5- Patra (Petra) 6- The Troll 7- The Waste of Time SIDE THREE: 8- White Stallions 9- Thirsty and Miserable SIDE FOUR: 10- Dying Inside 11- Born Too Late SIDE FIVE: 12- Saint Vitus 13- White Magic / Black Magic 14- Zombie Hunger 15- Hallow’s Victim SIDE SIX: 16- War is Our Destiny 17- Prayer got the (M)asses 18- White Stallions 19- Darkness.
