SAHIB SHIHAB and The Danish Radio Jazz Group, Denmark Oktav 111, 1965 LP. Ultra rare orig pressing, one of the rarest jazz LPs in the world! This is truly something special. An absolute ultra rarity, even in Denmark. First copy I have ever seen. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

COVER is EXCELLENT, has a few light creases, but overall real nice. See pics.

VINYL is VG++ to EXCELLENT. Barely played vinyl, has only a couple of very minor issues. Looks visually very close to Mint-. On side 1 there is a thin hairline, barely visible, but it creates some clicks at the end of track 3, and some more at the beginning for track 4 when the music is low. This hairline is unfeelable, and the clicks are quite low-key, but they are there, and you hear the hairline when the music it low. On the side 2, in the intro where there’s some talk and some drumming on what sound like a tin can, before the music itself has started, there are 14 fairly loud clicks. When the music starts, it plays perfectly – the rest of side two plays Nr MINT.

Overall a great copy of this Jazz rarity!!!

GRADINGS

• MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else.

• EX is also VERY nice, 2-3 light marks perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.

• VG+, a nice player, but probably has some visual impairments, and some clicks or light noise in places; always see the individual description.

• VG: Rarely put of for sale, an ok copy, but always see the individual description.

PLAYGRADING

I play-grade parts of or whole LPs to determine the actual sound-quality of the item. Palygrading is done on a quality system with an Linn LP12 as the main source.

SHIPPING

I SHIP IN BAND NEW CRUCIFORM shipping boxes with stiffeners & extra corner protection always added. .The boxes are slightly bigger than the normal LP-size, thereby providing good protection of corners and edges. I remove LPs from sleeves, in order to prevent seam-splits on transit.
