Description
This is a one of a kind item that you won't see again too soon. Well, technically there are 6 of these or something like that in existence.
This is the first and REJECTED test press of the infamous self-titled Saetia LP on Mountain Records, released in 1998. If you listen to the record, it will become clear as to why these were rejected. Say what you will about Geoff Turner, he actually did a pretty good job recording this record, but this sounded like s**t the first time it was pressed. This is the full LP as it exists in its regular release, but a TEST PRESSING.
The labels on the record are blank white except for where I personally wrote the Side letters ("a" and "b"). The words "SAETIA TEST" are also handwritten in pen on the label by me.
Here is the interesting part. It comes in a plain white sleeve, but on it I actually wrote the track listing in pen as well as "SAETIA 96-99". To this day, I have no idea why I wrote this.. especially since we started the band in 1997. I am a tool.
In any event, the record is in fine shape and has only been played that one time to see if it was really as crappy as Chris Jensen told us. It was. It was never played again. I sang for this band, so I swear to all that is sacred as well as your children that this is the real deal and has been sitting in my record collection for 6 years. I am old and sad. It's true.
this is only a 5 DAY AUCTION and I leave for tour on Sept. 11. (ominous, no?) so it is advisable to pay using PAYPAL. i would actually DEMAND that but I assume not everyone has it. This way you can be pretty sure that the record will be sent out before I leave for tour. if NOT, you may not get it til the beginning of November when I am back home. *CONSIDER YOURSELF FOREWARNED*. Buyer to pay $4.50 shipping. This is to cover the cost of a $2 mailer and $2 of postage and $.50 delivery confirmation. That's how it breaks down, so there should be no surprises about shipping costs. Bid hard, bid often and .. bid.
