VERY HARD-TO-FIND AFRO-CUBAN CLASSIC! BLP 1561 The immortal Arsenio Rodriguez really stands out on this one!
Dead wax has stamped RVG and etched BN-LP-1561-A (and B) Also etched is 9M.
The vinyl has a few hairlines but plays like new. No clicks, pops, etc. (I always test my mono lps by intermittently switching to Stereo mode which enhances any background noise. This record passed with flying colors.) The labels and ring holes are super clean. Side 2 has a tiny white spec to the right of 'NOTE' which is due to the printing, not damage.
The cover has a couple of small scuffs and a more noticeable one near the bottom under Sabu's arm. There were the beginnings of edge splits of 1 3/8", 5/8" and 1/4" that were neatly repaired with Acid-Free clear tape. The back has some small writing in the lower right corner.
