SABU MARTINEZ - Groovin' with
This is Sabu Martinez swedish debut album. The music is some really good deep groove, funk with fantastic congas and breaks. Just listen to the names of the tracks "The beat goes on", "Groovin'" etc. A goldmine for DJ:s and breakbeats fans.
The album was recorded one day when Sabu Martinez together with top-notch Rune Gustafsson (guitar) and Sture Nordin (bass) where in the studio to to accompany famous jazzy artist Cornelis Vreeswijk, but he did not show up (lucky us, we now have one of the best funk album ever made). Highly sought after and a great collectors item.

How I Grade: M-/EX/VG+/VG. The records are listed SLEEVE/RECORD. M-: next to perfect, what many should grade Mint. EX: Only the slightest problem, sleeve a little grubby, record have a few hairlines. Nothing audible at most of the times, maybe just before the record starts or quiet parts. VG+: No big problemes, sleeve maybe just a little more worn than EX, for exampel on edges. Nothing audible at most of the times, maybe just for very few moments. VG: Some marks or heavier wear, some of it audible, some lighter backgrounds noise or maybe a pop at a few second. Sleeve may have heavier wear or seamsplit, usually shown in the picture. My grading is strict and most of my records full on the grade EX and VG+.
