ARTIST: SABU MARTINEZ
TITLE: Afro temple
LABEL: GRAMMOFONVERKET EFG-7341
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: SWEDEN
YEAR OF RELEASE: 1973
MATRIX CODE SIDE A: EFG 7341 A (Stamped)
MATRIX CODE SIDE B: EFG 7341 B (Stamped)
CONDITION: (vinyl/cover) VG+/VG+ ***VERY NICE COPY!*** (Please read detailed information below!)
The final album from the late and great Mr Martinez. Should appeal both to fans of experimental psychedelia as well as boys’n’girls who are into drum/breaks/funk and latin rhytms. Has become harsh to score nowadays...
COVER; the fragile unlaminated gatefold sleeve is in nice nick. There are some light wear round the edges and spine. The corners are lightly bumped. There is a faint beginning of ringwear and a few creases. The attached red booklet is still attached and is in really nice condition. The cover gets a VERY GOOD PLUS-grading.
VINYL; the vinyl has a rather nice sheen with some light hairlines visible under strong light. Side B has a thin scratch on track B1-B2. This minor defect causes some light intrusive noise. The vinyl is visually graded as VERY GOOD PLUS. There is some occasional background crackle during playback, which mostly is drown by the dynamic and powerful music. The vinyl gets an aural VERY GOOD PLUS as a whole. Nice.
LABELS; the label on side A is pretty clean with just some light rubbing. The label on side B has some spindlemarks. Pretty decent as a whole.
I use GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS – MINT/NEAR MINT/VERY GOOD PLUS/VERY GOOD/GOOD/POOR. The grading MINT (M) is hardly ever used - and at that umcommon occasion - NOT used improperly. NEAR MINT (NM) means NEAR MINT both visually and audible! VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) is the same as EXCELLENT (EX) in other grading systems. My ambition is to provide an as accurate description as possible and I do not try hide any defects or other flaws on the record and cover. MY GRADING IS STRICT and winning bidder ALWAYS has full refund minus shipping costs! PLEASE E-MAIL IF ANY CONCERNS! THANK YOU AND HAPPY BIDDING!

GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS
MINT ---- It should appear to be perfect. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains, labels or writing, tears or splits. Mint means perfect.
NEAR MINT ---- Otherwise mint but has one or two tiny inconsequential flaws that do not affect play. Covers should be close to perfect with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident: slight ring-wear, minor denting to a corner, or writing on the cover should all be noted properly.
VERY GOOD PLUS ---- The record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully. Not too far from perfect. On a disc, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve or the vinyl or some of the original lustre may be lost. A slight scratch that did not affect play would be acceptably VG+ for most collectors.
VERY GOOD ---- Record displays visible signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl lustre, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. Some audible surface noise, but should not overwhelm the musical experience. Usually a cover is VG when one or two of these problems are evident: ring wear, seam splits, bent corners, loss of gloss, stains, etc.
GOOD ---- Well played with little lustre and significant surface noise. Despite defects, record should still play all the way through without skipping. Several cover flaws will be apparent, but should not obliterate the artwork.
POOR ---- Any record or cover that does not qualify for the above "Good" grading should be seen as Poor. Several cover flaws
