The record is graded using the following criterion
Vinyl
Ex - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there should be very little lessoning in sound quality.
VG - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deteriation in sound quality, despite possible surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality may have deteriorated, perhaps with some surface noise and mild scratches.
Fair - The record is playable but it has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Sleeve
Ex - The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VG - Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.
Good - The cover and contents may suffer from folding, scuffing of edges,spine splits, discolouration etc.
Fair - The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
The Postage costs do not just reflect how much it cost's to post the record but also includes the quality packing used to protect the record whilst in the postage process.
