Description

You are bidding on a  US pressing copy of the Run DMC - Raising Hell LP released by Profile Records in 1986.  This is PRO-1217. This is the second US pressing of the album with the purple cover and green lettering on the front of the jacket. This record came out of the collection of a central Texas music fan, known to many musicians/fellow music lovers, who tragically lost his life late last year. He frequently attended concerts and shows here in central Texas and elsewhere. He enjoyed meeting musicians and liked to get their autographs, such as this record.  It has been signed by Run and DMC!  Their signatures can be found on the back of the jacket (see picture).  Both signatures were signed in black marker.  The record is in VG+ condition. The record labels are in NM condition. The  record jacket is in VG condition with some shelfwear, ringwear,  and edgewear. There are some creases (most of which are one inch or less) along the spine of the jacket as well as the top/bottom edges. Check out some of our other auction items that we have up for sale in our Ebay store this week including some other signed records!

We process and mail all orders Monday through Friday.  We are happy to combine shipping on multiple items.  Special shipping notice:  As of July 28th, 2013, we are no longer offering shipping to Italy due to continued problems with packages getting to their proper destination in a timely basis (if at all!).  We are sorry we have to do this, but unfortunately we have seen a recent spike in the amount of packages being shipped to Italy  that have either gone missing entirely or have taken excessively long to reach their destination.

We visually grade all our records for sale and grade both the record and the jacket. We go by general standards for grading, which are:

Mint (M) - an unplayed, new copy of a record. no visual defects!

Near Mint (NM) - a nearly perfect record that has usually only been played 1-3 times, in "like new" condition.

Very Good + (VG+) - record still in excellent condition but has minor signs of wear such as surface scuffs/light scratches that don't affect the play. jacket has minor signs of wear such as light ringwear, edgewear, shelfwear, and/or light creasing.

Very Good (VG) - record has more wear than VG+ and may have some slight surface noise, light pops, some scuffs or scratches.  generally still a great playing copy.  jacket may have more wear, writing, sticker residue, punch out/cut out holes or corners.

Very Good - (VG-) - record has noticeable groove wear, surface noise, scratches, and/or scuffs but still a decent playing copy. jacket has heavier wear and may have a small split seam.

Good + and Good (G+ and G) - record still plays without skipping but has considerable amounts of groove wear, surface noise, scuffs, and/or scratches.  jacket has alot of wear and some defects such as split seams, heavy creasing, writing, marks, sticker residue, etc...
