THE STORY BEHIND THE RECORD

Rumbleseat had the song " Whiskey Rye" featured on the Gerbil Assault 4 way split 7" about 10 years ago.  The owner of that record label sold the 7" stamper on ebay to a record collector in Florida.  He decided to get 14 copies of the A-side pressed on colored vinyl for gifts to his friends, they were never sold to the public.  When he received the records, he was expecting them to have blank B-sides, but the record plant actually pressed some Miami Bass music on the B-side.   I guess you can say that i was lucky enough to be counted among the friends to receive the record.   It has been held as one of my most treasured items and well cared for over the years.   I'm selling it b/c I need to get some dental work done.  It is indeed hard to let go of.  The record comes with the hand written note about the origin and purpose of the record (listed here).  The record was played only one time by the gift giver to determine and mark which side the Rumbleseat song was on.  It comes custom designed w/art work, hand numbered & 7" sleeve.  It is in the same condition it arrived in.  Which is like new.
