The Beatles Rubber soul (Mono) - Parlophone pristine condition

You are bidding on a 1965 album recorded by the Beatles. The record itself is in perfect condition and plays with very minimal scratching or background noise. This is different from the other Rubber Soul records because it is a first pressing Mono edition and plays brilliantly. It is the Yellow and Black Parlophone record and was made and sold in the UK. The inner sleeve is in perfect condition, and is a very rare version of the "made in England" line. Very few of these were made. The cover is in great condition too with no scuffs or rips.

Please note that this record is in the rarer "Ernest J. Day" cover which is hard enough to find. Also the record is the loud cut version with the slightly thicker LP. These were made with some of the first records and then discovered there was a fault and chanaged them back to the quieter versions that people are more familiar with. Although I bet John Lennon would have prefered the louder cut versions!

The album has very early matrix numbers on it (XEX 579 - 4, XEX 580 - 4) which means it was one of the first made, which makes it even more rare. Played only a few times on top quality equipment, it is very hard to find fault with this copy.

All tracks, even the easily worn 'Michelle', play loud and clear without any trace or crackle or groovewear distortion. In my opinion the better sounding Mono versions are harder to come by than the Stereo version. The mono's went to the hardcore Beatles fans and were often overplayed, so it is hard to find one that plays so well.

Please note this is a genuine Mono first pressing of the record made upon release and is not a later re-release. The condition is good as new so this would be perfect for a collector or a fan of the Beatles. I will not put a reserve on the item and start it off at what I think is a very reasonable price as I have seen these go for hundreds on here and in auction houses.
