Description

This is the vintage and original 1960's (circa 1965) 45 on Fujimo records T3KM-4454 917 4454 DO IT NOW by Royal Jones and the Dukes. The "B" side is I DON'T LOVE YOU ANYMORE. Both songs were written by R. Jones and recorded at an RCA studio in Chicago... "pressed" at Fujimo records in Elkhart, Indiana...definately an original "garage" band. The Label is very clean with no marks or stickers. The record itself still has much of it's original gloss with only light scuffing. Using the Goldmine grading system I would  grade it VG+ ( I try to grade conservatively). The Picture Sleeve shows light wear and a little discoloration from age and handling but has no marks, stickers, staple holes with only 1 small tear on the right side.  It would grade "VG+" also.  NOTE: there is NO listing of this sleeve in Osbornes 2008 Guide and even locally is considered rather RARE. I'm including a brief description of Grades to help clarify them for the novice collector. VERY GOOD PLUS: "record will show signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect ones listening experience. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. An LP jacket (or picture sleeve) may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole". VERY GOOD: Surface noise will be evident upon playing but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them". GOOD/GOOD PLUS: "A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. A jacket or sleeve will have seem splits. Tape writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object". S/H is Priority w/tracking & includes a new album mailer (ins. extra). I will ship media mail if you wish but recommend insurance if you choose this method. I have recently had some media mailing take up to a month to arrive. International order are shipped Priority or Express ONLY and include Tracking & Insurance (please calculate postage before bidding). Overseas bidders if you INSIST on an item being mailed regular Air Mail contact me first and be aware that I will NOT be responsible for a record shipped in this manner as it can neither be tracked or insured. Please email me with any questions, and thanks.
