Description
Roy Eldridge and Dizzy Gillespie Roy and Diz #2 Clef MGC 671 mono black trumpet label deep groove David Stone Martin Cover
Roy Eldridge (t) Dizzy Gillespie (t), Oscar Peterson (p), Herb Ellis (g), Ray Brown (b), Louis Bellson (d) Recorded 1954
Black label with trumpet and deep groove both sides. No address on back cover.
The record looks M- and plays VG++ due to pressing quality. Clef Lps tend to play play with light surface noise even when very clean. No scuffs. No scratches. Grooves look glossy and bright and record looks unplayed or nearly so.
The cover is VG++, near M-.
The David Stone Martin art looks gorgeous. The front cover has shine with little or no wear and with some light staining along the spine. The back cover is the same. No split seams. Corners are tight and sharp.
I WILL BE RUNNING MONTHLY AUCTIONS OF 50s and 60s JAZZ LPS INC BLUE NOTE, PRESTIGE, NEW JAZZ RIVERSIDE etc. MANY WEEKS AND MANY NICE ITEMS TO COME.
My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied. No hassles.
