DESCRIPTION: Roxy Music 1st self titled LP . 1ST UK press with pink rim labels, machine stamped matrix ending 2U/3U and fully laminated gatefold sleeve. Postage cost includes a box mailer and tracking. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Island ILPS 9200: YEAR OF RELEASE: 1972. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG+. Vinyl is clean with a nice sheen and a few light hairlines and soft scuffs. Visually a little better than VG. Played passages of this this morning on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on turntable. Plays VG. Music is clean and loud with an occasional tick and a trickle of background sound in the very quietest passages, mainly on side 2 . Cover is in nice shape. It is firm and square with good shape and has light to moderate edge wear, light to moderate corner wear and light creasing. Clean inside of gatefold. Small sticker removal mark to one side of otherwise clean labels- check out the photos. No writing to sleeve or labels. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
