Description
Firstly, greetings to all fellow Roxy Music fans.
This album has recently been found in a sealed box in my loft where it must have been since 1992 when my record player gave up the ghost to be replaced by a CD together with this great album, which has always remained one of my favourites - 'Prairie Rose' especially is a classic. Never really liked the tacky sleeve though. Prior to that it would only have been played a few times as I usually taped (does anyone still remember cassettes?) my albums to enable listening to whole thing in one go. It was also done to allow listening to in the car. There are a couple of minor marks on the disc itself.
Can't remember for sure as it is so long ago, but this could be a day of release purchase. It's scary how the time has passed? No doubt serious fans and/or collectors will know for sure and I apologise if I am wrong. I certainly do recall bunking off school to go and buy it together with the resultant detention which meant I had to wait for the first listening! Sorry if I've bored you.
On the run off areas the following appear: Side 1- ILPS 9303-A-2. Side 2- ILPS 9303-B-1 plus what looks like OD. It tried to take a piccie on the macro setting and failed.
The sleeve is not damaged either (see photograph). The inner sleeve is the original and is not creased etc. The spine reads - ILPS 9303, ROXY MUSIC COUNTRY LIFE, 1974 ISLAND RECORDS LTD (all in red).
Apparently vinyl is now making a come back but I suspect a re-release of this album is probably unlikely.

5. Also note that PayPal is my ONLY accepted payment method with NO exceptions.
