Phil Spector Box Set 5 - Record LP Set Extremely Rare
1. If you are a serious potential buyer of this set, I don't have to go into extreme detail about it. You know the set, you know that it is never listed on eBay, Amazon.com or anywhere else. Why? Because anyone who has it is sitting on it with no intention of selling.
2. This is a FULL 5- LP Set... I have personally inspected the LP's in detail. Out of the 10 sides, there is only one slight scuff. I carefully play tested the LP's and they all play perfectly, including the track ("Uptown" by the Crystals) with that little scuff.
3. You get the box, "Back to Mono" pin, 5 LP's with their sleeves...including the Spector Christmas Album, and the special Spector Lyrics Book. The set's discography, which I have omitted here but can be readily viewed elsewhere, is the same as the Spector CD box set.
The vinyl in this set is basically Mint. The LP's shine with their original finish. The set's sleeves are all in great shape with only the sleeve to LP #1 showing some ring wear. It appears that the wear is due to pressure from the set being stacked for many years, rather than from use. Sleeves 2, 3, 4, and the Christmas Album sleeve look great. The box has one corner of the 8 that is not perfect.
