visual grade: Vg++ (only few paper scuffs) play grade: Vg+ (plays great, just light noise here & there; heard it all, beautiful copy) labels: clean, matrix n° are DM-84730-A/DM-84730-B + F/W + a ww sign upside down + very small letters which i can't read, looks like a T with below a V (see pic) cover: Vg+ paste-on cover with tape on the shrink wrap (?!) + hand-writings, USA 70's style heavy cardboard
conservative grading
comments: this is the ULTIMATE rare groove still undiscovered GEM. on sale only once on eBay for nearly $2.500 but that copy was without labels; this is with labels (so a 1st time in a way) ! impossible to find, especially in this amazing condition. w/Robert Shabazz on sax, Lex Humphries on drums (Yusef Lateef) AND Nate Jones on drums providing some killer breaks (check especially B2 number New Rock Joy, what a groovy & joyfull situation) ! Mr. Jones played with somebody called James Brown: in particular with the James Brown Orchestra from 1966-1969, by many considered the tighest & funkiest band of all time ! but he had some mental issues which is why JB fired him after a few years. in terms of rarity and beauty i think we are here in the range of Uncle Funkenstein and the World's Experience Orchestra, VERY RARE. TOTALLY kool funk-jazz with bopper/hipster moves, a UNIQUE album ! NOT a dull moment, on the contrary !
check it out yrself the whole album here (NOT from the actual copy on auction):

record grading system (vinyl/cover):
M: like new M-: played very few times Vg+: occasional low surface noise, very good condition Vg: light scuffs, surface noise audible, good condition
