Rome - Flowers From Exile

Pressung Original Bemerkungen

Edition on 180-gram white audiophile vinyl, limited to 500 copies, packaged in a sturdy cardboard sleeve with a printed inner sleeve. The complete edition is hand-numbered and personally signed by Jérôme Reuter. An album of bold and prismatic vision, 'Flowers From Exile' takes us onto a partially autobiographical journey into the heart of the Spanish Civil War and the subsequent years in exile. Lyrically inspired by Lorca, Brecht and other classics of world literature, Jérôme Reuter has managed to tackle the topics of isolation and displacement, courage and hope whether it be political, familial or religious, all rolled into one brilliantly poetic album. This might be the classic neo-folk album of the noughties, now finally available on vinyl in a strictly limited edition, commemorating the 10th anniversary of Rome.
