A tough one to explain. This 3 hour radio broadcast is from 1980 and features...The Rolling Stones,Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney,Rockpile, Rod Stewart,The Who, David Bowie, Queen, Joe Jackson, Elvis Costello, The Kinks, Yes, Elton John, Graham Parker, Joe Cocker, and John Lennon in pretty obscure live recordings with an announcer announcing the acts and a bit about each one. I'm not sure about the bulk of the recordings, but I do know that the Rockpile tracks are from a ridiculously good radio broadcast of a date in 1979 in New Jersey. It has never been properly released. This set includes the cue sheets and the contract papers and announcement documents. The records are in only generic paper inner sleeves but we will sacrifice a classical LP box set to protect the records and paperwork in shipping. Near mint vinyl, as I'm not sure this was ever played through. See photos for details of the paperwork. Cool.
