Labels

Red open Decca label format signifying a very first pressing!! Very rare release.Tiniest rub on one side. Some spiderlines. Excellent with silver text clearly printed/visible. Very rare mismatched labels !! Different from each other! Will not find many like this! Please see pics for the differences! And on the same vinyl too!! Complete error!

POSTER

Victor Khan original.  Excellent condition. Some sticky tape on four corners of reverse. Unseen from front viewing. Slight surface wear to lower right reverse corner where sticky tape removed but does not affect front face of poster.

Sleeve

Rare sticker on front face to complete this very first issue presentation.Aperture on reverse face to denote whether stereo/mono recording. First issue sleeve, front laminated. Slight discoloration on reverse face.Spine clearly shows title. Light creasing only. Very good+ condition.

Red inner sleeve

First issue inner with credits/no blacked out choir text. No seam splits!! Light creasing only. Excellent condition.

Audio

At least a very good. Tiniest static during the quieter parts. A few light ticks here and there but hardly noticeable. Any surface disturbance is heard at a distance and does little to interfere with the presentation. The mono recording conveys a remarkable depth of sound, with tones delivered with a mellow warmth and a razor sharp edge. Very enjoyable with no sticks, jumps and plays really well. Better than many!

Vinyl

Thick cut, heavyweight press. Lightly played with a beautiful mirror like sheen. One or two light scratches, surface marks and longer unfeelable hairlines.Vinyl edge slight wobble, not quite flat but does, in no way, interfere with the aural delivery.

All in all, a very good example of a monumental Stones’ classic release. Absolutely complete and presented to you as it was ,all those years ago with stickered sleeve, poster and the original red inner sleeve. Becoming harder to locate like this with the complete package. Audio a real delight. Would stand proud in any serious vinyl collection.

Absolutely superb!!
