The Rolling Stones - Their Satanic Majesties Request
(Decca TXL 103 UK LP 1967)
This is a UK original LP pressing. It has a front laminated gatefold sleeve which has a 3D panel on the front. It comes with its original "psychedelic smoke" inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has turquoise blue Decca labels which are grooved also. The record has 1st press -2K/ -P1 matrix stampers.
Gatefold Sleeve: There is some mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the bottom & top edges. There is some light or mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is a very light completion of the "maze" on the inner gatefold. It is done in biro pen & doesn't notice too much. VG+ condition
Vinyl: Sadly this is a well played copy. There are mild to moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are approximately 8 marks on the vinyl also. There is one quite long scuff mark on one side. The marks are generally quite light & measure 1 cm to 7 cm in size. Fair+ condition. There is a name written on both labels. One is quite large & one is quite small. Otherwise, mild to more moderate spindle wear. The "psychedelic" inner sleeve has a seam split down the entirety on one side. There is a 6 cm seam split at the centre of the bottom seam, & a there is a 11 cm seam split at the centre of the other side also. Otherwise, light or mild creasing only. It is in Good++ condition overall.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG overall & VG+ in some places. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places. 5-6 mild clicks near the start of Side 1. There are some intermittent light clicks on the long track "Sing This All Together". There are a couple of other light clicks in a couple of other places too. It does not jump on my system.
I shall place the record in a separate poly-lined plain inner sleeve during transit. This will protect the actual inner sleeve from any further damage.
