This great sounding UK true MONO* 1st pressing dates from intial December 1967 release.
On the 'deep-groove', unboxed turquoise Decca label: TXL 103
Matrices: ARL-8126-1P & ARL-8127-1P
*Only discs with the '1P' matrix ending contain the intended true mono mix. Discs cut with any other ending are fold-downs of the stereo mix.
Stamper codes: 2,B/N & 1/UH
Vinyl weight: 149g
Housed in an outer laminated 'Robert Stace' printed gatefold cover with 3-D front panel & original 'smoke' inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Vinyl Visual: VERY GOOD
Audio: EXCELLENT -
The true mono mix shines though on this cherished example. There are some light surface marks and occasional light scratch but nothing major which affects play. Our play-check found little more than some unobtrusive vinyl background between tracks and two clicks on 'On With The Show' but no other significant distractions. If you have spend years listening to the weak inferior stereo mix, this true mono version will be a true revelation.
Cover: EXCELLENT -
Vivid & vibrant with a glossy front panel & undamaged 3-D panel. Apart from a little shelfwear to the lower edge but no other significant signs of wear throughout.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Fully intact and uncreased with just a little wear to the top edge, but no writing, tears or seam splits.
