The Rolling Stones - Their Satanic Majesties Request
1967 UK Decca TXL 103 Mono VG/VG- Original lenticular sleeve.
ARL-8126-1P and ARL-8127-P1 indicating the ‘true mono’ original pressing. 3 bell chimes at the beginning of The Lantern.
Decent all round copy.
Vinyl - Labels VG, vinyl clean, some minor surface marks. Cleaned and played through on Technics SL 1500 - no jumps or sticking at all. Has been well played and therefore a bit of crackle throughout mainly in quieter parts, the odd click here and there. Overall a VG- graded record, it isn’t perfect but still very listenable and enjoyable to play.
Sleeve - solid, no tears at all. Spine is great. A little wear at the corners. Only downside is that there’s some writing on the inside of the sleeve in the maize but other than that it’s a very decent copy. Because of the writing I'm grading as VG - otherwise it would be a VG+.
I've graded it in accordance with the Record Collector Grading - it is better than a Good but not quite a VG but I'm being very conservative - " VG - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable"Please see photos to validate my description. 100% seller with Excellent feedback.
