Rolling Stones - The Last Time / Play with Fire - 7" 45 RPM Vinyl - 1965 - VINTAGE ORIGINAL Picture Sleeve - NOT a reproduction sleeve.
I have another active auction for a picture sleeve and record for this single. This listing is the better of the two copies.
I am not a record collector, nor do I know how to grade records.
Picture Sleeve--Original vintage picture sleeve is in very good condition. No writing or price stickers but there is a one inch split at the middle bottom of the sleeve (see pics 2 and 3). There is some of the very common white ring on the front cover of this sleeve. Back sleeve has virtually none of the common white ring. For whatever reason, the back sleeve always seems to fair better as to the common white ring for this sleeve. Despite its minor flaws and being my second-best spare sleeve, it may still arguably be better than perhaps all other sleeves currently on eBay, except for my best spare sleeve. Please carefully compare this vintage sleeve to the other original vintage sleeves for this single currently on eBay.
Note--If you want virtually no visible white ring showing, display the back of the picture sleeve, which has the exact same image as the front and is in incredible condition.
Record Label--London record label only flaw is that Linda Griffith taped her name to both sides of the record label. Other than that, the label is in very good condition, although if you look hard enough, you can see some wear on the raised surface edges on both sides. I am not fond of the browned Scotch tape but I have come to appreciate every other aspect of this record since the record is otherwise in great shape.
Vinyl Record--The vinyl record looks great and shiny. If you look hard enough in very close very bright light, you can see some very light surface scratches but the vinyl looks very good, and in as good of quality as the sleeve. Linda and those after her took great care of this record.
Bought this record on eBay about five years ago to display the record. This record and sleeve became a duplicate after I later bought another copy of this record with a better sleeve. I do not have a turntable to play this record and my current purchase history on eBay only goes back two years so I cannot find specific information or grading about this record.
