Description
This is an original, mint condition promotional LP "Still Life" a mini special, issued by Rolling Stones Records/ WEA Music Of Canada in 1981. It was distributed to radio stations, the music press and music industry V.I.P.s. It was never made available to the general public. The generic white cardboard sleeve has the title and the Rolling Stones logo stamped on one side only. The label is a standard Rolling Stones Records yellow, with "For Promotional Purposes Only" printed on it. The album features interviews with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Bill Wyman. There are portions of tracks from the "Still Life" album as well. This promo only item was produced by Toronto's Sonic Workshop and was created only for the Canadian market, making it a very collectable piece. Only a few hundred copies were pressed! As this LP has never been played, it is in mint condition. It has had one owner, a former record company executive who has had it filed away since 1981.
