This EXCELLENT 1st UK MONO pressing of their psychedelic opus dates from December 1968 release and is on the 'deep-groove' blue & silver Decca label: TXL.103

Housed in an outer laminated 'Robert Stace' printed mono cover with a 3-D front panel.

A clean & vibrant set with a small collection of faint spindle trails and slight wear around the side 1 centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Both playing surface are extremely clean and retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shines with just a handful of non-feelable hairlines on side 1, but no scuffs or any other blemishes elsewhere. Even closer examination directly beneath my unforgiving, powerful halogen desk lamp found nothing more than a sparkling rainbow shine and no paper hairlines. Both sides of this extremely respectable disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Play: EXCELLENT

This copy has received some careful play and still sounds great. My careful play-check at volume found no groove/play wear distortion on any track or any other significant deterioration to the sound quality. In fact, apart from a touch of light background in some of the quieter passages, there really is little to fault audibly. There are certainly no clicks, pops or any other such audible distractions on this magnificent true mono mix.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A super clean & strong example with just a hint of storagewear but no significant or major faults throughout. The front panel is clean & undamaged with an unblemished 3-D panel. There is a touch of wear to the edges of the front leaf, but no tears or splits or any bumps to any corner. The rear panel is clean & glossy with again no significant sings of wear. The inside of the gatefold is immaculate with no marks or wear to either panel and the spine is clean with no splits to either end of the delicate hinge.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

A clean & unworn example with a few gentle storage bends but no writing, seam splits or tears.
