Description
The Rolling Stones "Some Girls" original first pressing USA 33 1/3 rpm long playing (LP) stereo phonograph record, Rolling Stones Records COC 39108, with die-cut cover. This is the original cover, with photographs of Marilyn Monroe, Lucille Ball, Jayne Mansfield, Britt Ekland, Farrah Fawcett, and Racquel Welch included on the record's withdrawn cardboard inner sleeve. Production of the original inner sleeve, that makes the cover complete was halted, as permission to use the photographs of the famous female stars was never given. The phonograph record is still in it's original shrink wrap. There is a pristine white two-and-one-half inch (diameter) round advertising sticker on the shrink wrap that has "Contains The Single MISS YOU" (and the catalog number) in red text, on the shrink wrap. The back cover pictures beautiful models wearing fashion bras. This is the most perfect copy of this record album that you could find. This copy has the popular vibrant colors of green, yellow, blue, and rose. "Some Girls" was released in the United States in 1978. The songs on the record are (Side One) "Miss You", "When The Whip Comes Down", "Just My Imagination (Running Away With Me)", "Some Girls", "Lies", (Side Two) "Far Away Eyes", "Respectable", "Before They Make Me Run", "Beast Of Burden", and "Shattered". "Just My Imagination (Running Away With Me)" was written by Whitfield and Strong. All other songs were written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. The record was produced by The Glimmer Twins. Engineer and Mixing by Chris Kimsey. The phonograph record has never been played, and is in mint condition. The record cover is in near mint to mint condition. This is the nicest copy of this awesome collector's item that you could find.
